Recent Meeting: Contemporary Challenges in Hip Surgery: Course Chairman Martyn Porter

The Challenges in 2008

This high quality and independent clinical conference builds on the foundation of previous Wrightington Hip Meetings. It offers orthopaedic consultants a unique opportunity to discuss current areas of controversy, and to compare different and complementary contemporary techniques. This meeting is independent of industry support, and is focused on technique.

The Challenges for discussion this year are;

* Use of Acrylic Bone Cement
* Revision Hip Arthroplasty
* Resurfacing and Femoral Head

The aim is to cover selected topics in detail and to derive recommendations for best practice. The ultimate goal is to continue to improve the experience of our patients.
