'Bad manufacturing practice in Orthopaedic implants' reaction

Jeremy Hunt, MP for South West Surrey and the current Health Secretary, has posted his reaction to press reports concerning Europes 'lean on the side of the manufacturers' in relation to licensing health products including orthopaedic implants.

The British Orthopaedic Association have reported that they are working closer with the manufacturing regulator MHRA in Project 'Beyond Compliance' which aims to enhance research made into orthopaedic implants prior to releasing products onto the market, and further surveilance of products post-market.

The full article of Jeremy Hunts announcement in which the new project is mentioned, can be found on The Telegraph website.
