WWL Staff only: Celebrating 50 Years of the Charnley Hip ReplacementDinner at Kilhey CourtSaturday 24th November 20127.30pmOn the 22nd November 2012 it will be 50 years since Sir John Charnley performed the first cemented total hip replacement. This is being celebrated at Wrightington Hospital with a series of events culminating in a dinner at the Kilhey Court on Saturday 24th November 2012. We are inviting all staff at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. Tickets will be limited to 300 and allocated on a first come first served basis. The dinner is being subsided by the Consultants and tickets will be £20 per head.
